End of Summer Scentsy Bash

Every February and August I host a special Scentsy Bash for my customers and past hosts.  Its my way to show my gratitude and appreciation to my customers and hosts for their continued support of my business throughout the year.   Door prizes, games, snacks, and tons of fun!  We get a sneak peek at our new products for the season and also get a last chance to purchase favorites that may be discontinued at a discount. 

Ms. Myrah was the big winner at my End of Summer Scentsy Bash!  She won the on-time drawing AND the door prize drawing!  Ms. Myrah is such a warm, loving and special lady.    My son just adores her, they have such a special connection.  Whenever I pick up my son from after school care, he is always in Ms. Myrah's office or right beside her helping her with a "special project".    I want to sincerely thank all of my fellow Scentsy-holics and our new Scentsy-holics for coming and making the party so much fun!

The end of Summer opens the door for our new Fall / Winter season!   And in true Scentsy fashion - we have wonderful new products that will Warm the Heart, Enliven the Senses, and Inspire the Soul!  I am so excited to share our new Premium Warmer Line - these warmers are absolutely beautiful and made with exceptional craftsmanship!  Extra time and care are required to create Scentsy's Premium warmers.  Higher-end materials and finishes, decorative ornaments, and distinctive shapes combine to create one-of-a-kind, intricate works of art.  We have also added our Hero Collection featuring our brave Firefighters and Police Officers.

We have 3 new additions to our huggable Scentsy Buddy Family - Scratch the cat, Patch the dog, and Sasha (photo at right)- our first Charitable Cause Scentsy Buddy, in support of the mission of the Ronald McDonald House.  She is adorable!

Scentsy has heard how a lot of you are using our Room Sprays as fragrance.  Well, the room sprays wasn't exactly made to spray on the body, but Scentsy listened and taaaa daaahhh......introducing Scentsy's fresh twist on fine fragrance!  The Solid Perfume!  Five of or most beautiful scents have been reformulated as fine-fragrance perfumes that work with body chemistry.

Pomegranate - The Jewel of Autumn



Our Perfectly Pomegranate has been on everyone's minds lately.  I have been getting so many orders for Perfectly Pomegranate lately.  Oooh Dawn - I need more Perfectly Pomegranate Scent Packs - Mollie, my Monkey Buddy is fading fast!  Dawn - I want 3 more Perfectly Pomegranate Scent Circles for the car.  Dawn - can I get the 6 back of the Perfectly Pomegranate Travel Tins?  Wow!  I too LOVE our Perfectly Pomegranate.  Its such a sweet scent of dark and juicy pomegranate with a sweet berry finish.  I especially love them in the Scent Packs and Travel Tins .  We spend so much time in our cars that it is so nice to have that comforting and calming scent as you are driving.  No road rage - LOL!!!  So here are a few tidbits about Pomegranates - the Jewel of Autumn!

·         Pomegranates are prized throughout history and symbolizes renewal, romance, and youth for many cultures.  Its seeds are rich in antioxidants with an energizing aroma.

·         Pomegranates are symbolic of prosperity and abundance in virtually every civilization.

·         The name Pomegranate derives from Middle French - pomme garnette - meaning seeded apple.

·         Many scholars believe that the forbidden fruit that Eve indulged in from the Garden of Eden was actually a pomegranate, not an apple.

Sticky Notes of Hope

I've been inspired.  Inspired by a simple act that can lift someone's spirits, make someone laugh, realize that you do matter, that someone cares, that you are loved!  I challenge each of you to leave a Sticky Note with words of encouragement, something silly, or any positive message that comes to your mind for someone to find.  It can be for someone you know or someone you don't.  Leave it for your hubby to find, leave it in an elevator, leave it in a file folder that your co-worker will find.  Have fun and be creative!  Post a photo of your Sticky Notes to your Facebook page and share it with your friends.  If you find a Sticky Note - take a picture with it and share it.  This idea came to me from Heidi Thompson, Scentsy's President.  It so moved me that I wanted to spread a little bit of that ray of hope and sunshine here in Hawaii.  This idea has spread from Idaho via Texas to Hawaii in just an instant.  Lets see where this idea will take us - hopefully around the world!
